Other Land is a product design partner for tech companies, working with B2B SaaS, AI products, fintech, mobile apps, marketplaces and EdTech. An AI-native product designer joins your team and ships every week, backed by a design lead and a product manager. Other Land has designed and shipped 56+ products since 2017.
Three people. Other Land puts an AI-native product designer matched to your product and domain on the daily work, and keeps two more people behind them. A design lead reviews every screen, keeps the quality steady, and steps in when a problem is bigger than one person. A PM holds scope, cadence and the boring parts, so nobody on your side has to manage the designer.
You pay one monthly fee for all three, not three rates. If Other Land does not have the right designer free for your domain, it says so instead of sending whoever is on the bench.
Other Land gives you a team, where a freelancer is one person and one point of failure. An AI-native product designer works on your product in their committed hours, with a design lead reviewing the work and a PM keeping it moving. That structure holds a schedule on a hard week, covers a holiday, and puts a second set of eyes on a decision before it reaches you.
About two weeks after the designer starts, you have something to open, click and argue about. Not a status report, a prototype. Setup takes one to two weeks and onboarding two to ten days, first drafts land straight after that, and detailed prototypes usually a week later.
From there Other Land works in weekly sprints: scope agreed, shipped and shown, with an update on what moved and what did not.
Both, matched to your team. Other Land designs in Figma when your team works there, builds straight in code with Claude Code or Cursor when your developers ship with agents, or does both. AI speeds up exploration and production, and design leadership reviews every screen before it reaches you.
Whatever the route, you get files your team can use: Figma files or Claude artifacts, specs, and a design system your developers build from.
Other Land works as part of your team. A dedicated AI-native product designer will join your day-to-day process via work chats and regular video syncs (one to three times per week).
Our Head of Design and Project Manager remain involved part-time to guide the process and offer fresh perspectives.
We collaborate closely with your PMs, designers, and developers, aligning with your roadmap by following it or helping shape and prioritize it for the greatest impact.
Other Land offers two flexible pricing models to fit your product’s needs.
1. Weekly sprints are ideal for project-based work up to three months, where you pay monthly for the weeks we work.
2. Full-time involvement means a dedicated designer joins your team at a fixed monthly rate, similar to a salary.
After our intro call, we recommend the best approach based on your scope and product needs, along with a cost estimate.
Other Land begins by signing an NDA if required. Then we ask for your business requirements, roadmap, and vision to prepare an accurate estimate.
A kickoff meeting with both teams helps us get to know each other and align on your product mindset. Once we agree on the scope, sign the contract, and set a start date, we hold another meeting on day one to outline a detailed plan and deliverables for the first sprint.
Yes. Other Land has extensive experience working with established companies and their design systems. If you already have one, we follow it to ensure consistency. If it needs refinement, we help make it more solid and scalable.
And if you do not have one yet, we can build it from scratch to ensure a smooth and efficient design process.
Other Land focuses on product design, but if your digital product needs a website, we can help with both design and development. We also offer branding support when needed.
We work with experienced brand designers and developers and can bring in the right experts based on your specific requirements.
